WickRight’s founder, Bob Kelly, is a 35+-year veteran General Contractor, Master Carpenter, Inventor and student of Building Science. Everyday, he pulls apart rotting roofs and walls, examines the sources of water damage and invents practical solutions.

Patented WickRight Parapet Vents and Flat Roof Vents

"I couldn't find anything at the supply stores, so I made it. Now we have 6 patented Parapet Vents and Flat Roof Vents that protect and vent trouble areas on parapets, flat roofs. We also have a couple pitched roofs vents."

Patented 365 Construction Tent Rental Service

"Opening and closing roofs each day is a waste of time and money! And it's a liability if a roof doesn't get dried-in properly. A couple winters ago, we had a job with rotted trusses, so I designed a rafter system so we could tent the project and work all winter long.

We have 1 tent up (as of January 2025) one in Old Town. If you'd like to take a look, give us a call. I'll meet you at the jobsite and give you a tour."

365 Construction Tent has heavy-duty adjustable rafters and 10mm shrink wrap system are for use on flat roofs with parapet walls. Available for rent with installation by WickRight General Contracting.

Patent-pending Roof Truss Reinforcement Bracket System

"To save my clients the cost and hassle of moving out during truss repairs, as well as reduce our liability for damages inside the home, I developed a bracket, that's installed from the rooftop onto existing trusses.

We will be installing these brackets in Lincoln Park before in January and February 2025. If you'd like to see the operation in person, give us a call to arrange a site visit."

WickRight Truss Brackets are available direct from WickRight and require a site visit by Bob Kelly or a structural engineer to make sure the brackets are right for your project.
