• Capstone Vented Drip Edge is a permanent ventilation system. Installation protects the top of parapets from rain seeping through capstones. Wind flows through Capstone Vented Drip Edge to dries walls via circulation and draws moisture vapor up and out of masonry and wall core.Option 1: Capstone Vented Drip Edge can be installed on both sides of a parapet wall.
  Option 2: Capstone Vented Drip Edge installed on exterior side of the wall, Parapet Vent with Receiver Clip on interior side of the wall. REQUIREMENTS: 1. WickRight Vapor Permeable Membrane must be installed under Casptone Vented Drip Edge. Membrane allows moisture vapor to exit, but does not allow water to enter.2. If wall is more than 9" wide, order appropriate width of Capstone Support to span the distance between WickRight devices on interior and exterior sides of wall to support the self-adhered flashing which will be installed between WickRight systems and under the capstone.If self-adhered flashing is not supported, it may sag over time; rain seepage thru the capstone may collect in the depression; this water may freeze in the winter and damage the self-adhered flashing and capstone
  
  WickRight Parapet Vent products protect against moisture intrusion, yet allow airflow across and into parapet by 7.2 cpm per lineal foot with an 18 mph wind, produces a lift force of 7.87 lbf to draw moisture vapor up and out of masonry walls.

How to Order:
Measure length of parapet wall to be vented, add 10% for corners, etc

Example – wall is 125' x 110% = 137.5'
Order 140' – because Drip Edge comes in 10 foot lengths
Kit 1A will come with 2 equal lengths of Drip Edge

Kit #1A is typically in stock, however, should fabrication be needed, it takes 7-10 business days. Shipping is typically via FedEx LTL Freight, 5-10 business days.
